Q&A's

Do I need to arrive early to my appointment?

You don’t have to arrive early, but you're welcome to come 5–10 minutes beforehand if you’d like a little extra time to settle in or if you have yet to fill out your intake forms.

Should I eat and drink before my session?

Yes! We recommend eating a light meal and drinking plenty of water before your massage.

Do I have to completely undress? How is modesty handled?

You may undress to whatever feels most comfortable for you. We typically recommend removing your top, bra, and long pants; wearing shorts is totally fine if that helps you feel more comfortable.
Your therapist will step out of the room while you undress and get under our modesty sheets, and will only return once you let them know you’re ready.

What should I wear during the appointment?

For the massage, we suggest removing your top, bra, and long pants. Shorts are perfectly okay if you’re more comfortable that way. Please remove any necklaces or bracelets as well and pull up any long hair. Your therapist will leave the room while you undress and get under our modesty sheets.

What should I wear to the appointment?

We recommend to wear loose, comfortable clothing that’s easy to change in and out of.

What should I do if anything is uncomfortable during the massage?

Speak up! Your comfort is our top priority. We always check your preferred pressure before starting, but if anything feels too light, too deep, or uncomfortable at any point in any way, please let us know right away so we can adjust and make your session perfect for you.

How often should I get a massage for chronic pain relief?

Weekly: Best for severe or persistent pain (fibromyalgia, arthritis, chronic back/neck pain).
Biweekly: Great for moderate pain or if you need a budget-friendly rhythm. (easily stay on track with our Maximum Relief membership)
Monthly: Ideal for maintenance once your pain has improved.
Your therapist will create a treatment plan tailored to your body and your goals, using techniques like deep tissue, trigger point therapy, or myofascial release when needed. (easily staMaintenance Membership)

What’s included with your Gold Membership?

$220/month for two 90-minute massage sessions. You can use both yourself or share them with a friend.

What’s included with your silver Membership?

$150/month for two 60-minute massage sessions. You can use both yourself or share with a friend.

What’s the best way to buy a gift card?

You can purchase over the phone and have the gift card emailed to you or the recipient, or you can stop by our spa to pick up a paper gift card. Whatever’s easiest for you!

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes, we do! We offer both e-gift cards and physical paper gift cards. E-gift cards can be emailed directly to the recipient. E-gift cards are available over the phone and paper gift cards can be picked up in person at our spa.

Do you do mobile massage?

Yes, but only for corporate or workplace events and bridal/baby showers. We don’t offer in-home visits.

What is lymphatic drainage?

Lymphatic drainage is a gentle, light-pressure technique using slow, consistent strokes that follow the body’s natural lymph pathways (toward the armpit area). It’s helpful for inflammation, swelling, diabetes, injuries, acute pain, cancer recovery, and post-liposuction clients.

Do you offer prenatal massage?

Yes! We offer prenatal massage for clients between 14–40 weeks pregnant. If you’re experiencing severe or unusual pain, we recommend checking with your doctor before booking.

What is the difference between dynamic cupping and static cupping?

Dynamic cupping uses lighter suction and moves the cups across the skin, leaving minimal marks. Static cupping uses deeper suction and stays in one place, which can leave darker marks and mild soreness for a couple of days — but clients often report longer-lasting results.

What is cupping?

Cupping uses suction to gently lift the muscle and fascia inside the cup. This increases blood flow, promotes healing, and helps release stubborn knots. It’s great for clients who want deep-tissue results without intense pressure.
Note: Cupping cannot be performed on clients with blood clotting issues.

What is the Brent’s Treatment?

Brent’s Treatment is a 2-hour session designed for athletes and labor-intensive workers. It combines massage with static cupping to deeply break down knots and tension.

What is the Alex Special?

The Alex Special blends hot stones, dynamic cupping, gua sha, and massage. It can be customized for relaxation or deeper therapeutic work. Available in 75-minute, 90-minute, and 120-minute sessions

Are couples massages done in the same room?

Yes — couples sessions are typically done in the same room, but you can request separate rooms if you prefer.

What is the difference between Therapeutic and Deep Tissue massage?

Both help break down knots and muscle tension, but deep tissue uses more pressure. Therapeutic focuses on problem areas with moderate to firm pressure.

What is the difference between Therapeutic and Swedish massage?

Swedish massage is more relaxing and soothing. Therapeutic massage is more targeted and works specifically on areas of tension or pain.

Can massage help with car accident recovery?

Yes — massage can help loosen tight muscles after an accident. However, it’s important to see your doctor first for a proper diagnosis and to rule out serious injury. Many clients also benefit from seeing a chiropractor, as they specialize in acute skeletal issues caused by accidents.

What is hot stone massage?

Hot stone massage uses heated stones along with massage techniques to warm the muscles, improve circulation, and increase range of motion. The heat helps your body relax more deeply and releases tension more easily.
